For those living in the United States, they are most familiar with the 75 ball bingo since this is the game that is most constantly played there. The 90 ball bingo on the other hand, has fans in Europe, Australia and Asia. For both 75 ball bingo and 90 ball bingo, the player has to secure a bingo sheet or purchase bingo cards. As we've all noticed, the bingo cards would already have numbers on it. These numbers have been pre-selected prior to the cards being printed. The 75 ball bingo and the 90 ball bingo are played in the same manner. It is the player who has to mark the numbers that are called out. Once the player sees the winning pattern, then it's time to yell bingo and claim the prize. But what happens if more than one person yells out bingo or gets the same pattern at the same time? In the interest of fairness, the jackpot is shared equally among the winners.
In the 75 ball bingo, there are 5 columns containing 15 numbers on each column, totaling 75 all in all. The five columns are for the five letters in bingo and can be located at the top. The 75 ball bingo player will notice that the numbers in their bingo cards will not exceed 75 and these numbers are randomly printed on 25 squares.
In the 90 ball bingo, the bingo cards are called tickets. The bingo cards would have a total of 90 numbers evenly and randomly printed on 6 tickets. The 90 ball bingo player would notice that there are some squares that are blank. The player in the 90 ball bingo has 3 chances of winning because there are only three winning patterns. The biggest difference between the 90 ball bingo and the 75 ball bingo is that in the 90 ball bingo, the player will not see the letters of the game anywhere on the ticket.
